England’s Golf Coast chooses BRS

12.15am 7th February 2007 - Corporate

In a pitch between the leading contenders for online tee time booking systems, BRS Golf’s has been selected by the Mersey Partnership. According to Charlie Grimley, the Partnership’s golf development manager, this decision was because “it is head and shoulders above the rest”.

He went on to explain the selection decision. “The BRS system was tested along with all the other systems and it was obvious to us that it’s the easiest for golfing visitors to book a time and to pay online, wherever in the world they may be.

“As an internet-based bookings management system, it is also much simpler for the clubs because they control the tee times made available and simply receive an e-mail confirming the bookings and the electronic payment. From our perspective, it will mean that we now have a superb and bespoke online booking tool which will reside in our website promoting golf, www.englandsgolfcoast.com.

“The BRS system will enable golfers everywhere not only to see, but actually book, pay and play more of the fine courses in the region, as well as the ones they hear about like Birkdale, Hoylake and Lytham due to the international success of The Open.”
