De Vere signs 5 year GPS deal with Elumina Iberica

ProLink Golf GPS is to be installed at nine of the UK’s premier resorts.

Elumina Iberica, international distributor of ProLink Solutions, has signed an exclusive five-year commitment to supply the ProLink GPS system to the De Vere Group, one of the United Kingdom’s most exclusive hotel and golf course operators.

So far Elumina has installed the ProLink system at nine De Vere properties including Oulton Hall and Dunston Hall courses.

In addition to Oulton Hall and Dunston Hall, De Vere courses installing ProLink are Belton Woods (near Grantham), Carden Park (near Chester), Mottram Hall (Prestbury), Slaley Hall (Hexham), Staverton Park (Daventry), Wokefield Park (Reading), and Wychwood Park (Crewe).

“We‘re thrilled to announce this new partnership with De Vere, a name synonymous with luxury and classic golf throughout the UK,” says Angela Catlin, managing director of Elumina Iberica. “The adoption of ProLink GPS by such prestigious properties speaks volumes about its status as a must-have golfer amenity, management tool and revenue-producing component.”

“De Vere’s lofty stature makes it a truly welcome addition to our list of trusted partners,” says Lawrence Bain, CEO of ProLink Solutions. “High-end courses and resorts around the world recognize the substantial return on investment delivered by ProLink GPS – more than 200 percent on average — and are eager to install the solutions-based system. ProLink’s proliferation at Europe’s finest courses widens our audience of high-income golfers, driving even greater value to our advertisers.”

ProLink recently entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100 percent of the outstanding shares of Elumina Iberica SA, Elumina Iberica UK Ltd, GP Ads SL, and GP Ads Ltd (collectively “Elumina”), to more directly capitalize on international demand. The acquisition is anticipated to close no later than November 30, 2007, subject to customary closing conditions.
