Club Car have shown their strength in other markets by winning a substantial contract to supply the Israeli Defence Force with a total of 57 Club Car gasoline Carryall-II vehicles fitted with cargo boxes, cabs plus all other accessories. The vehicles are intended for use by maintenance personal at all Israeli Air Force bases.
The Carryall II was chosen as a lightweight durable vehicle, which is also rust proof, extremely robust and capable of carrying a payload of up to 1,200lb (545kg).
Kislev Ultility Vehicles Ltd, Club Car’s distributor in Israel since 1991, worked in conjunction with Kevin Hart, Club Car’s business development manager for Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and Rusty Fuhrmann over several months to put together the tender proposal.
Shamai Simon, owner and general manager of Kislev Utility Vehicles, is delighted with the team effort involved not just in wining this contract but also in developing this important relationship. He said, “The hard work we have all put in and our determination to succeed has paid off and has ultimately delivered this great contract. We expect to receive several additional orders for Club Cars from the Israeli Defence Force in 2004.”
Kislev is one of the leading utility vehicle companies in Israel and well known for offering an efficient full service. The company has 3 full-time mechanics and carries a full range of spare parts for every single Club Car model ever sold in Israel. They are determined and capable of keeping Club Car vehicles running at all times.
