£1 million deal for GolfPlus and Mox

12.10am 24th April 2003 - Corporate

Mox and GolfPlus have announced the formation of a partnership following Mox’s agreement to purchase £1 million of GolfPlus GPS units over the next twelve months.

The partnership will enable further growth for both of the companies, and allows each to concentrate on its core business strengths. GolfPlus will continue to build its business through the development of further quality golf technology products in the worldwide market, whilst Mox will secure an exclusive supply of GolfPlus GPS products in the UK, France and Spain.

“This agreement provides a means for both our companies to meet their ambitious growth aspirations,” commented Glynn Patrick, managing director of Mox UK. “By bringing GolfPlus into the Mox stable, we are able to build on our reputation for being at the forefront of the golf cart business. We are extremely confident that with the expertise and reputation of the Mox sales force, GolfPlus will help us to secure a strong foothold in the UK cart market.”

“Courses using GolfPlus GPS have proven without doubt that the addition of our product to their cart fleet has been the catalyst to promoting greater cart utilisation and in the process, making their cart fleets into genuine profit centres,” said GolfPlus managing director, Mark Newell. “We are delighted that Mox have shown such a level of commitment to GolfPlus and confident that this partnership will reap rewards for both parties.”
