Golfstream, renowned for its 100% British designed and built powered golf trolleys, has been appointed as a Partner Supplier to the TGI Golf Partnership, Europe’s leading golf retail services group, owned by PGA Professionals.
The company, which is regarded as making the most reliable golf trolleys in the UK from its headquarters in Ramsgate, Kent, will produce a new and bespoke Golfstream Edge trolley available exclusively to TGI Golf Partners.
Derek Richford, Golfstream managing director, said: “We are delighted to be working with TGI Golf and giving its partners access to the expertise and reliability that Golfstream brings to the UK golf trolley market.
“The new Golfstream Edge trolley will benefit their businesses and, naturally, gives us the opportunity to increase our UK sales base, which has been growing organically through sales of our own Revolution and Evolution models.
“Because our manufacturing base is entirely in the UK we were able to offer TGI Golf its own unique trolley and this gives its partners something very interesting and exciting to present to their customers.”
The Golfstream Edge features a single-click open and fold mechanism, 200 watt motor, adjustable bag stays and a soft T-bar handle housing high-quality, British-made electronics.
This includes a twin-digit display, security programming option, multiple speed increments from 0 to 9.5 and automatic power save. The trolley is available with lead acid or Lithium-ion batteries.
Eddie Reid, TGI Golf Partnership managing director, said: “It’s great to welcome Golfstream to the group. I have been impressed by the very high quality and reliability of Golfstream’s trolleys and they will now provide our partners with an exceptional, bespoke product at an excellent price.
“We are delighted to be working with a British company which is able and willing to tailor products to the needs of TGI Golf Partners while offering reliability and value for money.”
Golfstream is Europe’s leading name in trolley spares and accessories and excels when it comes to producing powered golf trolleys. Its own Revolution and Evolution Digital trolleys feature high-grade Electromech electronics and are rated as the most reliable and solid trolleys available in the UK.
The company also carries in stock a huge range of wheels, batteries, chargers, golf bags, spares and accessories for most popular trolley brands – which the company dispatches all over Europe.
This includes CaddyCell – a superlight Lithium-Ion battery which is more than 75% lighter than a standard lead acid battery. The CaddyCell Lithium weighs just 2.1 kilos and can be lifted with a single finger.
