ProLink Solutions announces it has partnered with Synergy LLC to install the ProLink system at upscale golf courses and resorts throughout the Middle East and India.
Based in the Sultanate of Oman, Synergy is the premier supplier to the country’s rapidly growing golf industry. As Oman’s only golf-specific business, and one of the few in the Middle East, Synergy specializes in maintenance equipment, golf carts, range accessories and pro shop products and services.
Under the agreement, Synergy will install and service ProLink’s industry-leading GPS system at golf courses and resorts in countries including Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and India. Synergy and ProLink will partner on the advertising platform on ProLink-installed courses throughout the region.
The Middle East and India are quickly emerging as golf hot spots. Numerous new courses are in the planning or building stages, with brand-name player-architects such as Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Colin Montgomerie attached to high-end projects. In India, golf’s history dates to the early 1800s and the country now boasts some 200 courses, with many more on the way thanks to its massive population and attractiveness to tourists.
“ProLink is the unquestioned world leader in golf GPS solutions for players and management, and we are proud to represent the company in this region,” says Chandra Lahiri, managing director. “Business-savvy courses around the globe rely on ProLink to maximize their operations and profits. We anticipate facilities throughout the Middle East and India recognizing the system’s value and swiftly adopting its technology.”
Says Lawrence D. Bain, CEO of ProLink Solutions, “Synergy is perfectly positioned to capitalize on golf’s booming popularity in its territory. We are excited to enter this promising market with a partner that shares ProLink’s focus on delivering outstanding customer support and return on investment.”
Synergy joins ProLink’s recently added international distributors in South America (Total News Golf), Spain (Golf Consulting Services) and France (Sport Business Group), while ProLink’s European subsidiary serves markets in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
