Golfsocieteit De Lage Vuursche near Den Holder in the Netherlands is the first golf club in Europe to take delivery of the new E-Z-GO RXV golf car, launched in January.
A fleet of 10 electric-powered vehicles has been delivered to the club by Duchell b.v., the long established E-Z-GO distributor for the Netherlands.
Duco van Oosterhout, president of Duchell commented, “We are delighted to have completed the first delivery of the new RXV into Europe. It is a great golf car and very easy to sell against the opposition once you have explained the economics to golf course operators. It is more efficient due to its AC motor; more comfortable because it has automotive-type suspension; easier to maintain and gives the club a greater return on their investment.”
Not content with the contract at the Netherland’s flagship course, Duchell has also supplied fleets of 10 RXVs to Golfclub Edda Huzid in Voorthuizen and Golfclub De Haenen in Tilburg. www.duchell.com
