Titleist and Callaway, two of the golf industry’s leading ball brands have issued statements reacting to the R&A and UGSA’s proposal to curb the distances that all golfers will be able to hit the ball in future.

Acushnet Holdings, owners of the Titleist, FootJoy and KJUS brands, has reported its financial results for the second quarter and for the first six months of the year, ending June 30.

Acushnet has announced the acquisition of Links & Kings, the Utah-based maker of Handcrafted Leather Golf Products
