The winners of the inaugural European Tour Group Sustainability Awards for the Middle East have been announced at a ceremony that took place in Dubai ahead of the DP World Tour Championship.

The European Tour group is launching a new tool that will allow its players to calculate and offset their greenhouse gas emissions when travelling to and from tournaments – a first for professional golf.

The successful staging of the Italian Challenge Open last week has provided the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort with the perfect precursor to the Tuscan resort hosting the Italian Open on the DP World Tour in 2025.
