Golfbreaks and Mastercard clients win unforgettable Open experience

8.15am 9th August 2022 - Travel

Golfbreaks is pleased to have a long-standing partnership with Mastercard, which allows a few lucky clients to win some truly incredible experiences after using their Mastercard to pay for their break.

What an incredible week it was for the game of golf to have the 150th Open at St Andrews last month. The event truly lived up to the hype. Mastercard have been an official patron of The Open since 2012 and the official card of this legendary competition.

Along with the record number of Golfbreaks clients on the ground experiencing all the action, there were two very lucky winners of the Golfbreaks/Mastercard draw able to walk inside the ropes and score for two of the groups on Thursday.

Both Stephen and Gary (pictured) loved the experience from start to finish and were very well looked after throughout the event.

Stephen added – “We were lucky enough to be prize winners at this year’s 150th Open at St Andrews with Golfbreaks and Mastercard! getting free entry to the event with V.I.P treatment all the way. But it didn’t stop there. As part of our prize we got to be official scorers for one of the groups on the first day of the tournament, walking on the fairways of the Old Course and seeing the pro’s play at very close quarters. For me as a golf fan this experience is one that you can’t buy and I certainly won’t forget! A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a few of the best days of my golfing life!! Thank you Golfbreaks and Mastercard!”

Golfbreaks looks forward to continuing the partnership with Mastercard and offering clients the chance to win some more incredible experiences simply by paying for their break on their Mastercard.
