Best Western Hotels – the largest group of independently owned hotels in Great Britain – has launched its new website dedicated solely to golf breaks. The new website www.bestwestern.co.uk/hotelsforgolf is designed to offer a one-stop-shop for golf break bookings including tee times.
The website gives detailed information on the ten Best Western hotels which offer on-site golf plus a search facility which enables golfers to locate a Best Western hotel within easy reach of a preferred golf course. Additionally, visitors to the site will benefit from regularly updated Sunday Driver promotional rates and packages. Best Western GB is part of the world’s largest global brand of over 4,000 hotels in 80 countries.
The ten hotels that offer on-site golf are situated all over the country. At the Best Western Crieff Hydro – home to the newly extended Culcrieff course, golfers will find a challenging course with holes that hug steep upland slopes and offers breathtaking views of the Grampians from the 900-acre estate. Prices start from £60 per person per night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, including a round of golf – available on stays Monday to Thursday.
Set in 150 acres of open countryside, the three-star Best Western St Mary’s Hotel and Country Club, Bridgend, boasts two courses, a driving range and a chipping and putting area. The delightful hotel is converted from a 16th century farmhouse and its oak beams, stonewalls and friendly staff give it added warmth and intimacy making it every bit the golfer’s paradise. Prices start from £129 per person for two nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, and include two rounds of golf.
One of the best hotel and golf complexes in the Midlands, the elegant three-star Best Western Abbey Hotel at Redditch is set in 175 acres of land that once belonged to the now ruined local abbey.
