Laguna Golf Phuket, home to Southeast Asia’s only PGA-branded golf academy, has entered into a reciprocal club agreement with Viya which operates six golf clubs across the United Arab Emirates, including Emirates Golf Club and Jumeirah Golf Estates

Under the agreement, Laguna Golf Phuket members will be eligible for preferential green fee rates and selected benefits across Viya’s golf clubs. Viya members will receive reciprocal benefits when visiting Laguna Golf Phuket, providing members of both organisations with additional playing opportunities when travelling between Thailand and the UAE.

“We are delighted to partner with Viya, one of the region’s most respected golf organisations,” said Stephen Chick, General Manager of Laguna Golf Phuket. “This agreement significantly enhances the value of membership by giving our members access to some of the UAE’s finest golf clubs, while welcoming Viya members to discover Laguna Golf Phuket and the wider Laguna Phuket destination.”

Located within Laguna Phuket, one of Asia’s leading integrated resort destinations in Asia, Laguna Golf Phuket features an award-winning championship golf course, alongside luxury accommodation, diverse dining experiences and a wide range of leisure and wellbeing facilities.

Viya’s portfolio includes internationally recognised championship venues, including Emirates Golf Club, host of the Dubai Desert Classic, and Jumeirah Golf Estates, home of the DP World Tour Championship.

“Reciprocal club agreements are one of the ways we can provide our members with added value and access to quality golf experiences when they travel,” said Christopher May, Chief Executive Officer of Viya. “We are pleased to partner with Laguna Golf Phuket and extend these additional benefits to members of both organisations.”

Direct air connectivity also makes travel between the two destinations convenient with Emirates operating three daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Phuket, and Etihad Airways operating two daily non-stop services between Abu Dhabi and Phuket.

The reciprocal club agreement takes effect immediately, with rates and benefits, subject to each club’s terms and conditions. Members are encouraged to contact their respective golf clubs for further information regarding eligibility and bookings.
