Foxhills Club & Resort‘s reputation as offering facilities to suit all ages has been further enhanced after the Surrey-based venue was named ‘Best for Families’ at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence.
The Condé Nast Johansens Awards awards have become an important and trusted mark in acknowledging and rewarding the best hotels, spas and venues across the world. Recognised by readers and travel professionals alike, the finalists and winners were determined from responses from online voting, guest feedback and local expert reports drawn from the hotels featured on johansens.com and in Condé Nast Johansens 2023 International Luxury Hotels Guide.
With a soft play area, crèche, games room and many family suites among its 66 bedrooms, Foxhills has invested substantially to ensure its caters for the family market. The resort offers more than 200 timetabled activities each week, including everything from sports, fitness classes and arts and crafts, to adventure clubs in the resort’s woodland area.
A recently opened £7m building dedicated to families, The Pavilion, is also home to an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and family restaurant, Flo’s, while guests can also enjoy three golf courses, including a nine-hole par-three layout, a driving range and short game practice area, as well as 11 tennis courts.
The ‘Best for Families’ award also marks the second year in a row that Foxhills has been recognised at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence after being presented with the ‘Best Immersive Experience’ award last year.
Tej Walia, Foxhills’ General Manager, said: “We are hugely honoured to win such a prestigious award, particularly one highlighting how great our resort is for families following our continued investment and commitment in providing the best possible experience for all ages.
“As a family-owned club, we pride ourselves on being a resort that is ideal for the whole family to visit, a memorable staycation destination where they can escape to the Surrey countryside and enjoy an array of leisure facilities and activities.”
