Damme is the first course in Belgium to have the Golfswitch booking engine for visitors to book tee times directly online and via mobile. Damme lies in historic Flanders and was a dynamic transhipment port before Bruges in the 12th century.

Damme Golf & Country Club lies within a stone’s throw of the historic town and was founded during the golf boom of the 80’s and 90’s. The 27 hole complex is very much a members’ club but close to other courses like Knokke and Ostend, the region and welcomes visitors.

Jo Maes, Managing Director GolfSwitch International: “As I’m from Belgium myself, I have always known Damme to be a friendly convivial club with excellent facilities, great food and with a course always in pristine condition. I am very pleased that we can add Damme to our growing portfolio of courses as we look upon expanding in Belgium. Our goal is to provide the many golfers that book through the GolfSwitch network, be it via Golfhub or via the many resellers and partners, the opportunity to sample golf in Belgium which in my opinion is very much underrated.”

Chris Morton, Managing Director Damme Golf & Country Club adds: “We all know it’s inevitable that golfers will want to book their tee times online and via their mobile sooner rather than later. Golf might be still a bit behind compared to other markets but I’m sure we’ll be catching up soon. As for Damme, we have a lot of foreign visitors with Bruges nearby and providing them with an online booking tool makes their booking experience faster and more efficient. This then gives us more opportunity to focus on our customer service and enhanced course experience for our many visitors. GolfSwitch was the logical choice to expand our reach into the digital space.”
