Double Scottish partnership success

The Golf Foundation has made a double sponsorship announcement regarding Highland Spring Ltd and Glenmuir – two very well respected Scottish companies. Highland Spring has agreed to sponsor the Golf Foundation by becoming its Official Natural Mineral water supplier whilst Glenmuir has extended the existing partnership through to the end of 2005 as the Official Clothing supplier to the Foundation.
Highland Spring will supply bottled natural mineral water for Golf Foundation events across the British Isles whilst Golf Foundation regional development officers will be given a supply of ‘Highland Spring for Kids‘ to give to children at specific Tri-Golf festivals. Glenmuir will continue to supply apparel to Golf Foundation staff and tournaments as well as prizes for the Foundation’s fund raising initiatives.
Formed in 1979, Highland Spring is the No 1 UK produced brand of natural mineral water. Its Blackford headquarters in Perthshire boasts one of Europe’s most modern bottling plants, exporting Scotland’s favourite water to 50 countries worldwide. Highland Spring has recently launched a new children’s water product and commenting on the new agreement, marketing manager, Suzanne Casey said, “Highland Spring already has a strong established relationship with golf so our new children’s water product fits perfectly with the Foundation’s Tri-Golf initiative. By becoming an official partner to the Golf Foundation Highland Spring hopes to support their work developing and promoting junior golf whilst also encouraging children to be healthy and drink more water”
