Chevin joins Snaiton Golf’s retail programme

8.41am 15th November 2023 - Retail

Chevin Golf Club in Derbyshire has become the latest club to join Snainton Golf, the online golf retailer and shop stocking model that enables PGA Professionals or golf clubs to benefit from a profit share of the sales made in store in return for the full stocking of the professional shop.

Snainton Golf, which currently stocks 21 on-course golf shops across the North and Midlands, as well as three Superstores, offers club members and visitors full access to thousands of products online at competitive prices. It’s a risk-free model where dedicated professional staff aid in the set up and running of the pro shop.

Andy Mellor, general manager at Chevin, said: “We can’t wait to work with Snainton. The transition of the shop takeover has been seamless, the stock offered has been both excellent quality and price, and it’s a fantastic offering to members and visitors who will benefit from a well-stocked pro shop with professional help.”

Snainton Golf MD John Hinchliffe commented: “The model works well for PGA Professionals, whether they are retained or employed by the club. Our stock holding is high, so the choices for all our customers is huge, making it really easy to do business with the club members. We are really pleased Chevin Golf Club have come to us for their retail solution and look forward to working with them.”
