Rossington Hall, a future European Tour Destination and tournament venue, was showcased this week at MIPIM, the world’s largest real estate exhibition, as part of the Sheffield City Region’s promotional activities at the Nice event.
A planning application was submitted recently for the Rossington Hall Golf Developments scheme, which will see the picturesque site transformed into a world class golf complex and resort under the European Tour Destinations banner.
The development will see the creation of an 18-hole championship course designed by former Ryder Cup and European Tour star Neil Coles which is in line to host at least three European Tour tournaments within the next ten years.
Welcome to Yorkshire is also supporting the project, and a delegation from Rossington Hall was in attendance at MIPIM, while also taking in a visit to the magnificent Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort, a preeminent example of a European Tour Destination.
Terre Blanche is home to the only European Tour Performance Institute in Europe and played host to the French Riviera Masters on the European Senior Tour from 2012 to 2015, while its restaurant Le Faventia was recently awarded a Michelin Star.
