Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has triumphed at the 2019 European Property Awards for the second consecutive year. The award celebrates the highest levels of achievement and cements the resort’s reputation as Spain’s leading residential development.
The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 24th October at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. Las Colinas Golf & Country Club competed against the best property developments across the European regions to be awarded top honours in the “Residential Development – Spain” category.
Covering over 45 different residential and commercial categories, the hotly contested European Property Awards is the most prestigious and widely recognised programme throughout the region. The judging panel of 80 industry experts focused on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability.
Las Colinas Golf & Country Club beat off some of the finest resorts in Spain to be crowned Spain’s leading sustainable golf and residential resort. Being awarded in the ‘Residential Development Spain’ category last year as well as being voted as Europe and Spain’s Leading Villa Resort in the recent 2019 World Travel Awards, underlines Las Colinas’s status amongst the elite of Spain and Europe.
Following the achievement, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been entered into the overall International Awards later this year to determine the world’s finest property companies.
Cristobal Guerrero, Managing Director of Las Colinas, commented: “To be awarded in the prestigious European Property Awards again recognises that Las Colinas continues to lead the way in the sustainable property industry in Europe. The resort has a synergy with the natural environment, using the indigenous flora, fauna and topography to its advantage while simultaneously protecting and preserving it for generations to come.”
“This achievement signifies that the high quality and sustainability of the villas and apartments for sale at Las Colinas makes them the perfect choice for a first or second home. The award gives us an edge over our competition by assuring our existing and potential clients that they are partnering with the industry’s best.” added Guerrero.
Key to the sustainability of Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is its world-class architecture. The energy-saving features of its houses, cutting-edge design and technology future-proofs the properties and provides owners with an investment that will hold its value and maintain its appeal for many years.
Silvia Llanes, Head of Innovation and Development at Gmp, the parent company of Las Colinas, stated: “It is a fantastic achievement to win at the European Property Awards. Las Colinas Golf & Country Club continues to be a top choice for property owners who are interested in experiencing the sustainable Mediterranean lifestyle in Europe.”
“We have responded to the shifting demands of buyers on golf resorts by offering high quality homes that show tangible value for money. The resort’s appeal extends far beyond golf – the recent opening of the new Las Colinas Sports & Health Club has only strengthened the destination status of the resort which we hope to continue to develop in the future.”
The latest Sports and Health Club is part of on-going developments for the resort, adding to the 18-hole championship Cabell B. Robinson designed course, Miguel Angel Jimenez Short Game Facility, stylish clubhouse and prestigious Beach Club overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
A range of luxury apartments and villas in low density housing communities with stunning views of the course are available for holiday rentals and for sale. Both apartments and villas have proved to be huge hits with holidaymakers and second home owners.
