Awesome Golf has installed its award-winning range technology at a new golf entertainment venue that brings world-class simulator technology to Mauritius for the first time.
The Range by Moka Rangers Sports Club offers far more than a traditional driving range. It features a technology-powered covered facility equipped with Awesome Golf Range software and mini golf – all set against the stunning landscape of Mauritius, making it one of the most visually spectacular golf venues in the region.
Powered by Awesome Golf’s range platform, which delivers a fully interactive experience for golfers of all abilities, each bay is equipped with touchscreen displays featuring advanced optical bonding anti-reflection technology, purpose-built for outdoor environments.
The venue is open to the public and welcomes golfers of all levels, families, and corporate groups looking for a unique entertainment experience.
At the core of the system is professional-grade shot tracking, capturing over 30 data points per shot – including spin axis, club path, face angle, angle of attack, smash factor and more. All data is displayed immediately on high-brightness, low reflection in-bay screens, elevating usage for true game improvement, coaching and club fitting.
Beyond practice, the platform offers a rich entertainment layer through a library of interactive games and challenges, including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Target Golf, Skills Challenge, and a host of immersive shootout modes such as Boat Blast and Super Splash. These are designed for players of any age and ability, making the range as appealing to families and first-timers as to seasoned golfers.
The venue’s simulator golf offering further extends the technology experience, allowing guests to play iconic courses from around the world – including famous venues such as Wentworth West, Emirates Majlis, and Doral Blue Monster – without leaving the island. Combined with mini golf, The Range by Moka Rangers is a complete golf entertainment destination for the whole family.
Venue operators also benefit from the Awesome Golf Range Portal, a real-time management dashboard enabling live bay monitoring, custom competitions, customer data access, and operational analytics across the entire site.
