Johnson Joins Titleist As Brand Director EMEA

Acushnet, comprising the Titleist and FootJoy brands, has announced the appointment of Matthew Johnson to a senior Titleist role. Johnson started his position as Titleist Brand Director EMEA at the end of July joining a Senior Management team responsible for growing the Titleist brand throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Johnson has enjoyed a successful career covering senior brand marketing roles as well as brand and category management within the golf and sports industries.  Jeremy Tomlinson, Vice President and Managing Director of Acushnet EMEA, commented, “I am delighted to welcome Matthew to the Acushnet management team. He has fantastic experience, which alongside a great passion and enthusiasm for golf, will be a great asset as he takes the responsibility for championing the Titleist brand throughout the EMEA region.”

In recent years the Titleist brand has continued to enjoy success across worldwide professional tours, as well as throughout consumer markets, with continued high usage amongst the game’s elite, multiple Major successes and strong market shares across all the key product categories. The latest product launches, including a new top-grade golf ball line-up and new golf ball franchise in ‘Velocity’, have further strengthened the brand’s market leading position within the golf ball market whilst Titleist’s club business continues to flourish in all the major product sectors.
