Sun Mountain updates golf bag range

Sun Mountain‘s golf bag range for 2023 offers eye-catching new colourways and designs, headlined by the retro-look MID-STRIPE stand bag in a premium vinyl material with modern design features.

The all-encompassing range is made up of more than 30 feature-packed golf bags and over 100 colour combinations, offering golfers an extensive choice of both cart and carry options across three advanced Sun Mountain ranges. 

These include the latest MID-STRIPE vinyl bag with matching accessories; H2NO line of fully-waterproof bags; plus sustainable ECO-LITE bags that have utilized approximately 1 million 20oz recycled plastic water bottles in fabric production since they were introduced three years ago.

The Mid-Stripe and Eco Lite stand bags


MID-STRIPE STAND BAG 
Weighing 2.6kg and available in seven colours, the MID-STRIPE stand bag features premium details like an integrated hand-stitched leather lift-assist handle; a roomy four-way top with full-length dividers to protect and organize clubs; seven spacious with durable zippers; a comfortable dual strap for carrying; plus a chrome plate that can be laser-etched withinitials or a club logo for an added personal touch.
Each bag comes with a complimentary box of 25 matching wooden tees, whilst accessories in the form of a Boston bag, players towel, alignment stick cover and single strap can be purchased separately to complete the look. Colour combinations include Frost/Navy/Red and Cabin/Umber/Wheat.

The ECO-LITE and H2N0 cart bags


H2NO STAFF CART BAG 
The H2NO STAFF model spearheads the fully waterproof cart bag options for the forthcoming season thanks to its user-friendly design for use on all carts. It features a cart strap pass through for easy loading without compromising access to the forward-facing pockets that are designed to be easily accessible during play; 14 full-length dividers; lightweight nylon fabric with a waterproof treatment on both sides; plus  water-resistant zippers and taped seams to ensure belongings remain dry.
It also incorporates a total of nine spacious pockets; a strategically designed locking bottom to ensure it securely fits on most trolleys, plus cart bumpers and reinforced fabric in wear areas to deliver enhanced durability. Standout colourways include Blue/Navy/Ocean and Black/Red/Cadet options.

H2NO LITE STAND BAG 
The ultra-lightweight H2NO LITE stand bag weighs just 2.3kg and offers great versatility for use when carrying, as well as on a cart thanks to all six pockets being positioned to face forwards. Other useful features include an easy-to-access hydration sleeve; the E-Z Lite Dual Strap system making it easier to get on and off; plus a glove holder and towel and accessory loops to the side of the bag. The Bermuda/Navy/White colourway is a bold option, while the Spruce/Navy/Aztec option with a contrasting stand colour delivers a premium striking look.

ECO-LITE BAGS
First introduced in 2020, the pioneering ECO-LITE range of stand and cart bags incorporate Repreve water-resistant fabric crafted from up to 30 20oz recycled plastic bottles in a bid to reduce harmful waste on the environment. Over the last three years, the brand has pushed the boundaries in sustainable golf bag design, culminating in approximately 1 million recycled plastic bottles being put to good use in the manufacturing of the bag range’s eco-friendly fabric.

Commenting on the landmark figure, Freemantle said: “Recycling such a large number of plastic bottles since the introduction of the hugely popular ECO-LITE line is a massive achievement and we are very proud to be playing our part to help the limit environmental damage. The popular offering sees the addition of the new Sunday X bag for avid walking golfers. Weighing just 1kg, it features a versatile X-Strap Dual Strap System providing easy on and off access, plus the option to carry on a single shoulder for shorter walks. Thick, high density foam straps are contoured to be wider at the top of the shoulder to deliver enhanced carry comfort, while four pockets ensure a golfer has enough space for belongings.

The ECO-LITE stand bag is available with a 14-way or 4-way top and features a new-look exterior in four colourways. Offering water resistance, the bag incorporates five pockets including a sizable clothing compartment; multiple accessories pockets; a hydration sleeve; plus a velour lined valuables pocket to keep belongings safe. The strategically designed top-mounted leg mechanism adds stability and lift assist handles provide easy maneuverability.
