Golfstream to Distribute Hedgehog Wheels

12.32am 5th January 2011 - New Products

Golfstream, one of Europe’s leading electric golf trolley and spares experts, has become a UK distributor for the renowned Hedgehog range of wheels and tyres.

This superb, British innovation – thought of by Jane and designed by Denis Lantsbury – are incredible at eliminating any damage made by standard trolley wheels, leaving little or no impression on the golf course and avoiding the necessity for winter trolley bans.

Since their launch, thousands of golfers are able to continue playing golf and use a trolley throughout the winter months.

Announcing the distribution agreement, Derek Richford says: “We’re delighted to become a UK distributor for what is now a world famous golf and internationally-recognised golf product.

“Hedgehog products are a fantastic British innovation which sit perfectly within the Golfstream business, as our own Revolution trolley is 100% British designed and built.

“With our new factory and warehousing facility, we’re looking forward to working in harmony with The Hedgehog Golf Company and giving golf clubs and golfers instant access to this essential winter product.”

Golfstream will distribute the Hedgehog Winter Wheel packs of two main wheels and front wheel suitable for PowaKaddy, Hill Billy and Motocaddy trolleys, as well as the 10″ and 12” Hedgehog sleeves for hand pull trolleys.

Since launching its own Revolution trolley at Golf Europe last year, Golfstream has gone from strength to strength.

The British-made, hand-built Revolution with its unique ‘one-click’ folding mechanism is a best-seller throughout Europe, while Golfstream also carries in stock a huge range of wheels, batteries, chargers, golf bags, spares and accessories for most popular trolley brands – which the company dispatches all over Europe.
