Cleveland unveils RTX Full-Face wedge

9.00am 1st June 2021 - New Products

Cleveland Golf has expanded its range of performance wedges with the launch of the new RTX Full-Face wedge.

Available at retail from June 11, the RTX Full-Face brings full-face grooves to Cleveland’s flagship RTX wedge family and is designed to deliver maximum short game versatility for the most demanding short game shots.

The foundation of RTX Full-Face is a low-density ZipCore that sits at the heart of the wedge. ZipCore shifts the centre of gravity, while also boosting High-Low MOI for more stability on shots hit high and low on the face, resulting more consistent spin, distance and feel on every shot.

RTX Full-Face also features UltiZip grooves which cover the entire clubface for optimal spin performance, while a high toe profile and C-shaped grind allows players to slide the club under the ball and play open-faced shots with confidence.

Similar to RTX ZipCore, the new RTX Full-Face features a new heat treatment process to boost durability and preserve the lifespan of the grooves to maintain spin performance.

Joe Miller, Product Manager at Cleveland Golf Europe, said: “The new RTX Full-Face maintains the traditional and striking clean look that golfers have come to expect from a Cleveland wedge, all while adding shot-making creativity with grooves across the entire face. It’s the perfect complement to the classic RTX ZipCore and delivers exceptional versatility around the greens.”

Available in satin (£139) and raw finishes (£159), the RTX Full Face is offered in seven lofts in satin (50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°, 64°) and four in raw (56°, 58°, 60° & 64°), both with a C-shaped grind. The raw finish is for custom orders only (RH).
