The second season of Netflix’s Full Swing series is set to be uploaded to the streaming platform next month, with the documentary series featuring a cast list returning stars, new faces and several noticeable absentees.

Season 1 stars Rory McIlroy, Joel Dahmen, Justin Thomas and Matt Fitzpatrick will all be back, as will Dustin Johnson, although he is the only LIV player to feature.

Fitzpatrick’s brother, Alex, as well as Rickie Fowler, US Open winner Wyndham Clark, Tom Kim, Keegan Bradley and Justin Rose will also be featured.

Brooks Koepka, who was in the middle of a slump in form during filming of the first season of Full Swing, will not be featuring in the second instalment, while fellow LIV golfers Ian Poulter and Mito Pereira, who were each featured in their own episodes in Season 1, will also not be returning.

Season 2 will feature extensive behind-the-scenes coverage of the 2023 Ryder Cup and the build-up to the matches, with team captains Luke Donald and Zach Johnson also set to receive plenty of airtime.

“It’s the first time that the Ryder Cup has allowed the level of access that we got this year to both captains kind of throughout the entire year,” said Full Swing Executive Producer Chad Mumm. “You’re going to see a look inside the Ryder Cup that no one has ever seen before. We were granted unprecedented levels of access to the entire team building process, including cameras rolling live with both the captains and the players as they receive – or don’t receive – their captains’ picks.”

The first part of the second series will start with the beginning of the 2023 season and culminate with the PGA Tour and LIV’s merger announcement in June and Wyndham Clark’s US Open victory. The second half of the season will be heavily revolved around September’s Ryder Cup, including a two-part season finale.

The entire second season of Full Swing will be released on Netflix on March 6.
