Robin Barwick appointed Editor for ‘Golf Retailing’s’ September Launch

Swink Media has announced that Robin Barwick is joining the industry’s newest trade title, Golf Retailing Magazine, as editor. Robin joins Golf Retailing publisher Swink Media on 23 July and will be editing the launch issue which will be published in September.

Robin has worked in the golf business for 18 years and in the golf retail trade for the past five years specifically as editor of SGB Golf. He completes a dynamic and experienced team at Golf Retailing, working alongside managing director, Miles Bossom, and publishing director, Oliver Peebles.

The first issue of Golf Retailing, out in September, aims to set a new standard in editorial and circulation quality and circulation is registered for ABC audit from issue 1. “The whole Golf Retailing team is dedicated to produce a publication that is original, comprehensive and on the pulse of the golf trade,” says Oliver Peebles.

“I am delighted to be joining the Golf Retailing team,” says Barwick. “Swink Media has enjoyed great success in the communications trade with Comms Business Magazine, by making a serious and long-term investment in circulation and content, and we are doing the same with Golf Retailing. That is why I am joining the team and I am excited to get started on the first issue.”
