Britain’s biggest golf media brand, Today’s Golfer, has launched its new-look website, todaysgolfer.co.uk

After months of research and development, the mobile-optimised site has a new look, more videos, better functionality, and more content.

Traffic is already up over 45% after just a week, and mobile traffic is up an incredible 90%.

The brand behind the best-selling golf magazine in Britain is also recruiting a Digital Editor to drive its online content, which mirrors the print title’s key pillars of equipment reviews, instruction and course reviews.

Editor Chris Jones said: “I’ve restructured the editorial team to better deliver the digital content our audience wants – our Digital Editor is a crucial role in continuing to improve our content and grow our audience.

“Traffic to the website is already significantly up year on year, and there’s some big plans around equipment, instruction and Top 100 Course rankings to grow that further this year.

“With video reviews of every club on sale going online in mid-April, a searchable database of old reviews, a new Fantasy Golf game and special content planned for the four majors, the Ryder Cup and the Olympics, I’m confident those numbers will rise.”

Commercial manager Conor Lenaghan added: “There are lots more advertising options with the new site for brands that want to talk a passionate audience of keen golfers. We can now offer new creative solutions, native content, bespoke pages for products and brands, geo-target our database and track golfers on their journey through the site.”
