Golf World Magazine launches new Top 100 Courses and Resorts Website

9.58am 26th April 2019 - Media

Golf World Magazine, the creator and publisher of the renowned “Golf World Top 100 Golf Courses” franchise, announces the launch of a new website to complement the print version of its rankings that have been published since 1989.

Launched April 1,2019, www.golfworldtop100.com presents all four of Golf World’s main Top 100 rankings – Golf World Top 100 Golf Courses: GB&I; Golf World Top 100 Golf Courses: Continental Europe; Golf World Top 100 Golf Resorts: GB&I; and Golf World Top 100 Golf Resorts: Continental Europe.

In addition to the rankings, the site also includes comprehensive reviews of Top 100-ranked golf courses and resorts, regional guides, golf break ideas, interviews with prominent architects, and a blog that highlights the latest golf travel news and the editorial team’s recent visits to golf courses and resorts around the world.

“We have been looking to publish an online version of our industry-leading Top 100 rankings for some time,” says Golf World Editor, Nick Wright. “While it was tempting to create a straightforward ranking site, we wanted to present a comprehensive content offering that embodies all of the high quality journalistic and writing qualities for which Golf World is renowned. Our new site is as much an immersion in the very best travel writing as it is a repository for our rankings.”

The launch of the new site will be supported by promotions across the magazine’s social media platforms, partnerships with other Bauer Media brand websites, together with a series of prize draws to win golf break packages at leading Golf World Top-100 venues.
