The revamped website replaces the original design introduced in November 2009 and can be found at the same web address www.golfcomms.com.
GCI´s new online presence offers an array of enhanced features including a free downloadable marketing tips document and the opportunity for potential clients to sign up for a free PR and marketing review.
The new website is Web 2.0 enabled and gives users the opportunity to share, like or tweet different parts of its content as well as keep up to speed with company´s news by subscribing to its RSS feed. The News section and the Twitter feed windows on the home page enable clients to feature their latest news and the blog provides regular updates on the latest company developments and lets people post comments.
The new website is fresh, contemporary, easy to navigate and in line with the company´s corporate identity as well as its philosophy.
It was designed by leading web design company Jordan Twigg Design. The Birmingham-based agency has worked with a number of golf resorts and businesses. Company director Jane Jordan, said: “Designing the new GCI website was a chance to refresh the design in line with the corporate branding we had previously help create. Having discussed at length the key goals for the website, we set about designing a very easy to navigate site that would engage the visitor. We decided to build a custom WordPress theme as it allowed us to include a News page, Blog and Gallery, all of which Helena can update herself.
“Working with Helena was great as she had a clear idea of what she wanted the new website to achieve, but was still open to suggestions and designs.”
Helena Woodcock, the CEO of GCI, added: “I am very excited about the launch of the new website. I have been working with Jane Jordan and her team for a few years now and they have always delivered dynamic and creative solutions. The new website is modern, informative and gives clients a great opportunity to learn about GCI and benefit from some free services. I am sure the website will prove to be a fantastic business tool in the years ahead.”
