8.56am 9th September 2008 - Management Topics

To put science into practice, STRI is running a series of one-day specialist training courses for golf course management and maintenance this October and November.

• Understanding the Science and Management of your Golf Course
 10th – 13th November 2008
• Integrating Ecology into your Golf Course Management
 22nd – 23rd October 2008

To help golf managers and staff cope with today’s constant demands for higher quality playing surfaces the golf programme, “Understanding the Science and Management of your Golf Course”, has been broken into four consecutive one-day modules. They will provide information on the latest science and technology and current issues surrounding the management and maintenance of the golf course.

The ecology course is spread over a day and a half, covering a wide range of ecological issues in relation to golf course management.

To take advantage of STRI’s on site facilities and trials grounds both the courses are held at Bingley, West Yorkshire.

For further information on these training courses or to make a booking contact Imran Laher, Marketing Officer, 01274 567201 
