The Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management (COGSM) announces its highly successful Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with Golf Management Concentration degree program will be available on campus, beginning September 1, 2014.
Originally offered online, the popular program generated increasing demand from students seeking an ‘on-the-ground’ bachelor’s program option, and the new program will now give Keiser University COGSM students maximum flexibility in completing their degrees.
Students with an Associate’s degree or higher can complete the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with Golf Management Concentration degree in as few as 20 months and take advantage of the unique playing privileges at the Keiser University COGSM throughout their studies, such as the 5,000-square-foot indoor training facility, PGA-certified instructor guidance and access to the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance in Port St. Lucie. Students who do not currently hold an Associate’s degree can complete the Associate of Science in Golf Management degree and the Bachelor’s degree in only 34 months.
“By offering this program on ground we provide our students with the opportunity to continue their education, obtain a Bachelor’s Degree, and pursue their passion of playing and taking lessons from highly experienced PGA faculty in higher education,” says John McMurry, Campus Vice President of Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management. “We will continue to offer the program on-line and run it concurrently with the on-ground program which will provide our students with multiple and flexible options to complete their degree should something in their life change. This program will provide our students with the education, experience and confidence to start their career in the golf Industry and prepare themselves for success.”
