BRS Golf, a leading provider of online booking and tee time management technology, has formed a partnership with the Golf Club Managers’ Association that will help club managers engage their members and maximise revenue through software innovation.
The partnership will see experts from BRS Golf’s sales, marketing and product and technology team join the GCMA to host a series of webinars, where the association’s members can learn more about how technology can help their club adapt to the changing landscape of golf.
In the last two years, BRS Golf has added key products to its suite to complement its list of services. Membership management, point-of-sale, online payments, flexible membership, visitor booking and competition and handicapping software are all now integrated into BRS Golf’s core tee time booking technology.
With tee time booking data from more than 60% of the UK and Ireland’s golf courses, BRS Golf is a leading source of industry information on the state of member and visitor play. Leveraging these insights, BRS Golf’s data analysis team will provide GCMA members with quarterly reports on key market trends. For example, quarter-on-quarter comparison of member and visitor rounds booked, growth and shifts in golfer demographics and booking habits, and the state of golf tourism with the UK and Ireland.
Craig Cotterill, GCMA business partnerships manager, said: “We are thrilled that BRS Golf have joined us as our latest Associate Partner. GCMA members will be able to benefit from the unparalleled knowledge of the BRS Golf team and we look forward to drawing upon that through the webinar series and regular quarterly updates. This partnership adds additional strength to the growing group of businesses that are looking to provide expert support and knowledge sharing through the GCMA network.
“BRS Golf will play a key role in helping us inform our members of industry trends and will give members the ability to benchmark their clubs performance against the wider industry. The data will also provide valuable insight to support the GCMA with thought leadership as we continue to support the growth of our members and the wider game.
“Technology, and its changing use in the golf industry, was a key theme of our recent GCMA Conference and BRS Golf will also help members learn more about how they can adapt to these new times through their innovative suite of products. The addition of BRS Golf to the Business Partner family, following the likes of Under Armour, Rain Bird, Fairway Credit and Sky Connect, adds further strength to our expanding network and our members will benefit greatly.”
