GolfNow launches Tee Time Alerts to help maximise revenue

8.51am 23rd April 2025 - Management Topics

GolfNow has launched Tee Time Alerts, a new feature built into its booking engine technology that is designed to help golf course operators maximise tee sheet revenue and reduce the operational strain of managing last-minute cancellations.

GolfNow’s enhanced notification system is complimentary for both golfers and golf courses, allowing golfers to create custom alerts based on their preferred date, number of players, and time. When a tee time that fits a given set of preferences becomes available, the golfer is automatically notified via email and/or text, giving them the opportunity to book the open slot.

Initially, the Tee Time Alerts feature is available exclusively to golf courses using GolfNow’s Golf365 booking engine. For these golf course operators, this means fewer unused tee times, less manual effort in rebooking cancellations, and greater confidence in filling valuable inventory.

In addition to driving incremental revenue, the feature enhances customer satisfaction by improving access to desirable tee times, helping the golf course stay competitive in a fast-moving market.

“Tee Time Alerts is another example of how GolfNow is building smart, revenue-focused tools for course operators,” said Todd Triplett, Senior Vice President, GolfNow. “For golfers, it’s about convenience and getting the tee times they want. For our course partners, it’s about capturing additional revenue opportunities and improving operational efficiency. It’s a seamless solution that benefits everyone.”
