Mytime Active, which manages 10 golf courses across the UK, has reported almost 700,000 rounds played between the 12-month period between March 2025 and March 2026.
Mytime Active’s portfolio includes three venues in Kent – Bromley Golf Centre, High Elms Golf Course and Orpington Golf Centre – along with Dibden Golf Centre in Hampshire and six venues in the Midlands, including Lickey Hills in Rednal and Boldmere in Sutton Coldfield.
The venues offer a wide range of golf facilities aimed at golfers of all levels, including 9- and 18-hole courses and driving ranges. As well as almost 700,000 rounds played, the company has reported just under half a million balls were hit at its ranges.
As a charity, Mytime Active reinvests all profits for community benefit, which means the money from green fees and range balls goes directly back into delivering leisure opportunities for the local community. The company has spent over £75,000 investing in improving facilities during the same period.

The changing nature of golf’s demographic was noticeable in MyTime Active’s membership data. While the average age of players at Mytime Active’s courses is 57, 40% of members are aged under 25 and 8% of those are under 16. In the last financial year, almost 3,500 new customers booked for the first time, highlighting how newcomers are driving up participation figures, as opposed to existing golfers playing more golf.
Steve May, Chief Executive of Mytime Active, said: “Our aim is to provide affordable, accessible, competitive golf in welcoming and sociable surroundings. Golf at Mytime Active’s courses isn’t just for regular players who are members of the club. Anyone can give this great sport a go. It’s a fantastic way to boost your step count in the great outdoors whilst enjoying the challenge of the game and the camaraderie and conversations with other players.”
