love.golf, the pioneering social group coaching programme supported by Syngenta, has been awarded the European Golf Course Owners Association’s (EGCOA) Contribution Award.
Based upon academic and market research demonstrating what many women want from a golf experience and venue, love.golf introduces the game within a relaxed, social environment primarily learning to play on the golf course rather than simply taking a series of technical lessons on a driving range.
love.golf Head Coach, Alastair Spink, explains: “love.golf provides an opportunity for women to fall in love with the game. When you have a group who are helping, supporting and encouraging each other, the learning dynamic is incredible.
“Being awarded the EGCOA Award for contribution to the future of golf further demonstrates the progress we are making with love.golf and the effort of all the coaches who are helping develop the programme.”
love.golf has grown significantly throughout 2016, and is now available at 26 venues in the UK and five in Sweden.

The EGCOA Contribution Award was split between Syngenta for the love.golf coaching programme and Elisa Gaudet for Women’s Golf Day.
