Hull swings into Legoland Windsor for Adventure Golf launch

4.05pm 17th October 2023 - Growing the Game

Solheim Cup winner Charley Hull made dreams come true for four young golfers as they teed off together at the world’s first LEGO-themed mini golf attraction, LEGOLAND Adventure Golf.

Berkshire junior girls, Lucy (12), Zoe (11) Olivia and Evie (both 9), were among the first guests to play the new attraction when their day was made ever more special by the arrival of their sporting inspiration, LPGA player Charley Hull. The five took on the colourful LEGO City course, one of the four themed LEGO courses, ahead of the attraction’s official VIP launch party for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

They weren’t the only ones enjoying the part-tee as celebrities such as Great British Bake Off’s Prue Leith, TV personality Mario Falcone, actress Daisy May Cooper and ex-Strictly dancers James and Ola Jordan were also amongst the VIP guests.

Speaking of playing the new attraction, Charley Hull said: “I’ve had a fantastic day being one of the first to play the LEGOLAND Adventure Golf attraction and meeting the very talented Zoe, Olivia, Evie and Lucy. The girls certainly know a thing or two about golf and it has been great to see them showing off their skills.

“The new attraction is really cool and a great way to bring the fun of golf to little ones and their families. You certainly don’t get any LEGO models on the tour courses but maybe we should suggest adding a few in for next year!”

Helen Bull, Divisional Director at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort said: “It’s been amazing having Charley here today to officially launch our new attraction LEGOLAND Adventure Golf. She is such an inspiration to young golfers, so it’s been a joy to watch her and the Berkshire junior girls interact while playing the world’s first LEGO themed golf attraction.”

LEGOLAND Adventure Golf features four themed 9-hole courses each with its own unique theme; from putting to Pirates and swinging into Space, to driving into LEGO City or taking your best shot in a Medieval village

Tickets can be purchased online in advance from £10 per person and guests staying at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, as part of a short break package, can enjoy mini golf as an add-on from £7.50 per person.
