For the first time, the Nicklaus Design team will exhibit at the CMAA World Conference next week in Dallas (Booth 531).
With 425 courses in 45 countries and 40 states, Nicklaus Design is universally recognized as one of golf’s premier architecture firms. But along with creating courses where none previously existed, Nicklaus Design is also highly skilled at renovation and redesign, providing improvements and updates to layouts that have fallen behind the times or are otherwise ready for improvement.
Among the many services the firm provides to golf courses are design audits and evaluations, site reviews, and budgetary planning.
“With so many courses in need of renovation or restoration as part of their natural life cycles, we want to be a resource to create long-range master plans and assessments,” said Paul Stringer, Executive Vice President, Nicklaus Design. “Additionally, our extensive resources and expertise can be put to use identifying opportunities for improvement, lending our agronomic expertise, and in budget planning.”
Among the firm’s other services include:
- Site review (identification of problem areas and issues)
- Drafting of preliminary site drawings and color renderings
- Preparation of preliminary and final constructions plans
- Conduct site visits for design review, grow in and turf establishment
“We have had the great privilege of building new golf courses around the world, but we also recognize the importance of upgrading and adapting courses to today’s trends,” Stringer added. “Our team of professionals is adept at identifying a golf course’s specific needs and providing ideas for solutions to the owner, operator, and members.”
