Keith Pelley to speak at World Golf Expo in China

2.00pm 9th October 2020 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Ever since he took over at the helm of the European Tour, Keith Pelley has been on the move to bring about change, writes Mike Sebastian of Asia-Pacific Golf Group

Since 2015 when he assumed the top post as Chief Executive of the Tour, he has been on a constant pursuit to make European golf the dominant force in the global game. The energetic Canadian is driven by a passion to create a European Tour capable of rivalling or even surpassing its rival, the PGA Tour.

As the driving force behind the European Tour, Pelley is committed to broadening the appeal and scope of the European Tour into a more global and lucrative brand. He maintains: “We must always remember we are in the content and entertainment business.”

There is no denying the Pelly is a change agent and a man with a vision to keep on building and maintaining the leadership position of the European Tour on golf’s global landscape.

Pelley will be one of the key speakers at the inaugural World Golf Expo at Haikou, Hainan 16 – 18 March 2021.

“We are delighted to have received confirmation that Keith will be at WGE and we are confident that he will not only make a huge impact on the event but will also be a top draw to attract the international golf community to be at the WGE,” said Tenniel Chu, Group Vice Chairman of the Mission Hills Group and Chairman of the WGE Organising Committee.
