Some of the biggest tech brands in golf gathered in Belfast last week for The Golf Business Technology Conference 2025.
The B2B conference, which was the first in Europe to be solely dedicated to golf technology, featured a comprehensive agenda covering topics such as sustainability, revenue generation, golf entertainment, operational efficiency, club management and leadership.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in networking events, workshops and keynote sessions designed to foster meaningful connections and share cutting-edge ideas over the course of the four-day event held on May 13-16. The first day featured a golf day held at Royal Belfast Golf Club.
Organised by Aboo Tayub, the founder of industry website Golf Business Technology, the event brought together leaders from major golf businesses like Inrange, Golf Genius, GolfNow, NGCOA, Trackman, GOLF.Ai, Carr Golf Group, GEO Foundation, Husqvarna and Toptracer for three days of information sharing and industry shaping seminars.

Special guest speaker Sir Nick Faldo attended the event to share his insights on the evolution of the game and the impact of technology. He also spoke about non-traditional ways to experience the game and shared his favourite memories from his illustrious career on and off the golf course.
The event looked at where the golf industry is succeeding and where there remains work to be done. Both Inrange co-founder Nick Longley and Global Brand Manager Ian Blunt were invited to speak at the event and after being there shared some insight from it.
“It was great to collaborate with top industry leaders at the event and more importantly start conversations about where the most exciting revenue opportunities are right now,” said Longley.
Blunt added: “It’s clear that every tech brand cares about their customer or end user, but there is still a strong industry bias towards only one segment of the market – traditional golfers – and if that’s not addressed through smart tech innovations, businesses will continue to limit their success.”
