GOLF EUROPE, to be held from September 26 to 28, 2010 at the Munich Order Center M,O,C, has once again proved its international position. Approximately 5,000 square meters of reserved exhibit space to date translates into a close to five percent increase for the leading golf trade show compared to the same time frame last year. Three months prior to the event halls 2, 3, and 4 are almost completely booked.

Armin Wittmann, Exhibition Director for Messe München: “In addition to registrations received from established, large companies we have also experienced an increase from the sector of smaller, mid-size companies. Particularly during times of economic difficulties these companies take advantage of the leading event, GOLF EUROPE, for exposure to a wide-ranging, qualified, and international audience of industry professionals.”

In addition to hardware brands such as Bridgestone, Callaway, Golfpark, Golfsmith, Honma, Jucad, Kiffe, as well as Komperdell, MacGregor, MaxFli, Mizuno, Motocaddy, Ogio, Silverline, Snake Eyes, Top-Flite, TiCad, and Wilson, this year’s GOLF EUROPE has also drawn a number of textile suppliers and manufacturers, such as Abacus, Daily Sports, Galvin Green, Genuin, Golfino, and Rönisch.

After taking a sabbatical last year, PowaKaddy and Back Tee will return to this year’s event. ”This is a signal for us that the golf industry considers this event by Messe München International the most important business platform for their marketing activities and customer acquisition,” comments Armin Wittmann.

This year, the PGAs of Europe will hold their first-ever “Learning Zone” at GOLF EUROPE. A variety of marketing and sales strategies will be the topics of a number of short presentations.

Each presentation will run close to 20 minutes, and will cover the three most important issues of each topic. Interested pro-shop and golf retail professionals will have the opportunity to reassess the efficiency of their business and develop new strategies with the help of a kind of ‘Speed Training’.
