Dates for GOLF EUROPE: 28th – 30th August 2011

The dates for the next GOLF EUROPE have been decided: in 2011 the leading golf industry exposition will be held much earlier: from 28th to 30th August at the M,O,C, in Munich-Freimann.

Messe München GmbH, the organizer for GOLF EUROPE, has taken into account the wishes of the industry in terms of offering an all-encompassing brand and product presentation.

Thanks to the earlier date, apparel manufacturers in particular will now have an attractive opportunity to take part in GOLF EUROPE. The previous date – later in the year – often presented a problem for them due to their long procurement cycles. In addition, hardware suppliers continue to introduce their products earlier in the year, thus they will also benefit from an earlier show.

Due to the consensus by all parties in favour of the earlier date, the trade fair will be able to provide a complete overview of what the industry has to offer, and thus serve as an improved source of information for order planning for trade fair visitors.

Another advantage of holding the event earlier in the year is the fact that GOLF EUROPE will no longer be held at the same time as Munich’s Oktoberfest, representing considerable cost savings in terms of travel and accommodations.

Klaus Dittrich, Chairman of the Management Messe München GmbH, said: “The earlier dates are our response to the industry’s wishes to modify the trade fair’s schedule to accommodate the industry’s product and information cycles. We are convinced that the new date will allow GOLF EUROPE to expand its brand portfolio and further improve its position as the golf industry’s leading trade fair.”
