Co Founder of Modest! Golf Management To Speak At GolfBIC 2021

Mark McDonnell has been confirmed as one of the speakers at GolfBIC.online, the UK Golf Federation’s online Conference and Exhibition that is taking place March 2-4

Mark has worked in the sports industry for over 16 years, initially starting out working in the football world before moving across into the golf industry when he was 24 years old.

Mark has since worked for two leading brands in golf, Srixon and TaylorMade adidas Golf. The latter in which he was employed as one of the youngest account managers in their history, winning account manager of the year in only his second year with the brand.

Mark has a vast amount of experience in working with high profile client, lifestyle management and works with many corporate companies on a daily basis. Mark also heads up the Horan and Rose biannual charity event and is Tournament Director of the ISPS World Invitational.

More recently, The R&A has appointed golf management company Modest! Golf to develop a series of future grassroots programmes aimed at inspiring more young people into golf and retain them within the sport. The new programmes will be launched later this year and provide more opportunities for young people to be introduced to golf through offering fun and accessible formats of the sport that are more in tune with how today’s generation uses its leisure time.

The stellar line-up of 19 speakers at GolfBIC includes Phil Anderton and Jackie Davidson (The R&A); Tom Brooke (Golf Club Managers Association); Keith Pelley (European Tour); Robert Maxfield (The PGA), Craig Tracey MP (All-Party Parliamentary Golf Group) and Elisa Gaudet (founder of Women’s Golf Day).
