bunkered Live, a consumer golf show due to be held at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh from March 24-26, has been cancelled.
The show, which follows a similar event held at the Birmingham NEC last month, has been pulled at the 11th hour by organisers DC Thomson.
A statement on the bunkered Live website, said: “This week it has become clear that due to the current economic climate and the costs that increase day by day, this particular show had become a challenge to deliver. So, we have taken the decision to cancel the show and refund ticket holders rather than risk the show not being the experience expected. We felt this was the right thing to do.
“If you have a ticket you will have been contacted by our ticketing agent Citizen Ticket with more details on your refund. This was the quickest way to share the news with our ticket holders, but we can be contacted with any questions at customer@bunkeredlive.com. We’re sorry not to see you all in Edinburgh this month but we will be back with more bunkered events soon.”
