The British Golf Show returned in impressive fashion on 15th–16th May at Wycombe Air Park near Marlow in Buckinghamshire and delivered its most successful edition to date.
Despite unseasonably cold weather conditions across the weekend, the event drew record-breaking crowds, highlighting the continued growth and enthusiasm for golf across the UK.
From the moment gates opened, attendees were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco, and with it, an expanded and more immersive show experience with extra Golf Challenges added for the show line-up, as well as the usual Free Lessons by PGA Professionals.
A standout addition for 2026 was the newly introduced “Insights Lounge”, which quickly became a much-welcomed addition of the event. This dedicated space hosted a series of engaging and informative talks and Q&A sessions, moderated by Cal Shukla of Skratch Women.
Among the highlights was a special appearance by Sky Sports Golf presenter ‘Inci Mehmet’, whose insights into the professional game and media coverage drew a packed audience and strong engagement throughout her session.
A new ‘Women’s Golf Zone’ was also created for this year, working directly in partnership with ‘Skratch Women’ and ‘Women in Golf’. This area brought together leading fashion brands, displaying their stock all in one area at the event for women.
Saturday 16th May saw the events new Air Display feature take to the skies, with a 20 minute Air Display act performed by the ‘Flying Comrades’ for the family to enjoy.
The show also achieved a new milestone with the largest-ever display of 115 exhibiting brands, showcasing the latest in golf equipment, apparel, technology, and training aids.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge innovations from leading manufacturers and emerging companies alike, reinforcing the event’s reputation as a key platform for the golfing community.
Dates for next year have already been confirmed as 14th – 15th May 2027, once again at Wycombe Air Park with organisers promising more features and enhancements for next year’s event.
