British companies seek export success at Golf Europe 2004

12.10am 17th September 2004 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Eighteen British companies have taken advantage of the export funding available this year from UK Trade & Investment to assist exhibitors at Golf Europe. Once again, the British Golf Industry Association is responsible for administering grants and organising the British exhibiting group which is based in Hall B5.
The value of this trade show to UK companies is clear with three companies who exhibited for the first time in 2003 – Successables UK, Jaxx Golf Company and Key TV – returning to build on last year’s success.  First-time exhibitors include Hanover House UK with their range of solid aluminium contemporary golf trophies and The Marcliffe at Pitfodels, a leading golf hotel in Aberdeen.  Others, like Heritage Golf of St. Andrews, The Boston Golf Tee Company, Sigma Golf and Elite Golf continue to find this is an extremely worthwhile event at which to promote their products. The show attracts over 5,000 trade visitors from 50 countries and is the leading European golf trade event.
This is sixth time in eight years that the BGIA has secured funding for Golf Europe from UKTI, with individual grants available of up to £2,000 per eligible company.
GOLF EUROPE 2004 runs from 3rd to 5th October 2004, on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair.
