Woodhall Spa – Heathland golf at its very best

Woodhall Spa Golf Club, located on the outskirts of the leafy Edwardian spa town, 20 miles from historic Lincoln, is releasing a limited number of Country Memberships.

The memberships will give golfers the same playing privileges as full members, including weekend golf and access to club events, not to mention play on the acclaimed Hotchkin and Bracken courses, and use of the practice facilities.

The Hotchkin Course, ranked 20th in Golf World Magazine’s World Top 100 Golf Courses and 3rd in its Top 100 Courses in England, represents heathland golf at its best and features some of the most dramatic bunkering in the UK.

The Bracken Course is a contemporary classic. It opened in 1998, and has evolved into a course of exceptional finesse that is appreciated and enjoyed every day by golfers of all abilities.

To be considered for Country Membership, applicants must live outside a 60-mile radius of Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, and be a current member of a golf club, with a valid CONGU handicap. And at £500 per year and no joining fee, as Golf World magazine recently published, ‘this has to be the best value membership deal in the UK’.

In addition to the attraction of both courses, Country Members will also be able to access some of the best practice and coaching facilities in the UK.

The National Golf Centre Academy at Woodhall Spa, a facility that isresponsible for consistently developing world-class talent – including Tour stars Luke Donald, Justin Rose and Nick Dougherty – has recently announced it is now open to the public, catering for beginners, individual and group tuition sessions, along with residential one- and two-night coaching breaks.
