TopGolf Watford to get £500,000 Face Lift

New turf for driving range plus bar and restaurant refit at Entertainment Centre

TopGolf Watford is spending £500,000 on a face lift at its Bushey Mill Lane Entertainment Centre. The existing astroturf on the driving range will be dug up and replaced, and the hi-tech target holes are being upgraded.

Inside the centre, there will be new fittings in the 50 driving bays, and new furniture in the 130 seat restaurant and bar, which serves on average 16,000 members and guests per month, along with an improved audio/visual entertainment system.

The centre will be closed from Monday, 9 January until Sunday, 15 January to allow contractors to complete the bulk of the refit.

From Monday, 16 January to Friday, 3 February TopGolf Watfordwill only be open on weekdays from 6pm to midnight, but as normal at weekends.

TopGolf Watford General Manager Andy Reeve said: “This is a significant investment, and one our members have fully deserved for their commitment and loyalty over the years.

“We have no doubt that the improvements, not only to the game experience but aesthetically too, will be welcomed by all our members, and they can continue to enjoy their visits to TopGolf.”

TopGolf Watford opened in October 2000. Since then:

  • 2 million people have visited the centre
  • 4.9 million games have been played
  • 98 million golf balls have been driven up the range
