Camberley Heath Golf Club experienced an attempted burglary on the night of 22nd December

The thieves drove into the main entrance of the doors of the Clubhouse between 9.40pm – 10.30pm causing significant damage to the entrance. The thieves gained access to the building, however were not successful in stealing anything.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses. It is believed that a 4 x 4 was used in the ram raid which would have had significant damage to the rear, Surrey Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen such a vehicle or seen one that has been abandoned. Office Manager Stuart Dubber said: “’I am extremely saddened by the incident, especially over the Christmas period. We are thankful that nothing was stolen; I would like to thank Surrey Police for their help with the incident.  If anyone has any information please contact the police.”
