European Golf Solutions (EGS) has introduced ForeBay to their expanding product portfolio. Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club, in the picturesque New Forest National Park, is the first club to install the new driving range solution.

Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club was established in 1915 and is highly regarded as one of the premier golf courses on the south coast of Hampshire for both the quality of the golf course and its’ natural forest setting. However like most established clubs their practice range facilities needed updating. Neil Hallam Jones, Secretary/Manager at the club turned to EGS to offer a solution.

Neil says: “We worked closely with EGS and told them our requirements. The end result is ideal for all of our members and guests. EGS installed the new portable ForeBay system which incorporated a synthetic turf base with high quality nylon mats and heavy duty rubber bases. The prevailing wind goes directly into the face of the ForeBay structure but the design allows wind to pass through the canopy, however we also have 4 anchor sockets for additional support.”

Kevin Saunders, the club’s PGA Professional continues:  “The new ForeBay shelter looks excellent and is very sturdy. I am also surprised at just how well the modern design blends into the surroundings. This facility will now enable me to provide all year round coaching. I would recommend any PGA professional to contact EGS if they need to install a functional, affordable, mobile or permanent, safe practice facility shelter.”

ForeBay features a high quality fabric construction and premium galvanised steel frame work, that offers a first class coaching or practice environment. Each bay is spacious and can be tailor-made to your requirements. EGS can offer the ForeBay as a mobile or permanent structure and can provide a complete array of options including bay dividers, golf mats and base solutions.

Paul Hawkins, Director of EGS, says: “We are overwhelmed with the positive feedback from our first ForeBay installation. We wanted to offer a practical and affordable solution to the club and this was achieved with great success. EGS are now looking forward to assisting other golf clubs that wish to upgrade their practice areas.”
