American Golf (UK) Ltd has announced the opening of a second 18 hole course at Sherfield Oaks in Hampshire. The new course will be officially opened by former European Tour Number 1 and Ryder Cup team member, Ronan Rafferty, along with Mike Clewer, managing director of American Golf (UK) Ltd, at a VIP golf day on Monday 8th September

Mike Clewer is excited about the continued development and improvement of the Sherfield Oaks club and its facilities. “Sherfield Oaks has enjoyed a very uccessful first year; being warmly received by both golfers and non-golfers in the local area. The new course will further widen its appeal as a welcoming and
superbly equipped golf venue for all the public. Sherfield Oaks really does
offer more than just great golf.”

Sherfield Oaks is the latest addition to American Golf (UK) Ltd’s portfolio. The golf club, with its two 18 hole courses, is situated in the attractive village of Sherfield on Loddon on the Hampshire borders, between Reading and Basingstoke on the A33. Sherfield Oaks‘ 9,000 square feet clubhouse boasts a main bar and dining area with a capacity for 150 people. An upstairs function suite, with  views over the starting and finishing holes of both courses, can accommodate a further 80 eople.
