Dalman set to raise the golfing bar on Turkey’s south western coast

First championship golf course in south western Turley moves a step closer to opening this summer after unveiling new branding.

Türkiye is ready to add a new star to its golf portfolio this year with the confirmed opening of the newly-branded The Dalaman Golf Club – the first golf course to launch on the country’s stunning Dalaman Coast.

Managed by the Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Golf, the club and course are one of the most eagerly anticipated new golf venues to open in 2026 and will be unveiled to the golfing world this summer.

Designed by the International Design Group and situated 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport, The Dalaman Golf Club has been created in one of the most ecologically rich areas in southwest Türkiye on a site bordered by long beaches, diverse vegetation and lakes that serve as a stopover for migratory birds.

Measuring 6,152 metres (6,728 yards) from the back tees and built on natural sandy soil using the best sustainable practices, the par-72 course will feature sweeping uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean with standout holes set to include the 15th, a par five featuring a 25-metre drop from the tee flanked by a nature reserve on one side of the fairway and a lake on the other.

Alongside the new course will be facilities including a driving range, putting green, short game area, clubhouse, restaurant and halfway house.

Umit Yasar Atalay, general manager at Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Golf, said: “It gives us enormous pleasure to announce the branding of the new course, which takes us a step closer to the launch of The Dalaman Golf Club this summer.

“It’s incredibly exciting to think that the opening of the course – the first in the Dalaman region – is now close at hand and can’t wait to showcase everything we have to offer to players from all over Europe.”

Opened in 2009, The Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Golf boasts an enviable location on the edge of the Dalaman River, where the Mediterranean and Aegean Sea meet, for guests to enjoy.

Featuring a choice of luxury accommodation, the ultra-all-inclusive resort offers an outstanding array of sports and lifestyle facilities, a private beach and a wide selection of bars and restaurants showcasing a variety of local and international cuisines.
